Episode 1:
Animal 24:7 follows RSPCA Inspector Chris Shaw as he makes a grim discovery in a house in Nottingham – 12 dead cats and over a dozen others in desperate need of rescue from appalling conditions. Presenter Tom Heap learns how to burp a baby badger at Secret World in Somerset and in Scotland, two orphaned seals reach their fighting weight and are released back into the wild.

Episode 2:
RSPCA inspector Laura Hunt is on patrol in Castleford tacking dirty living conditions for a whole host of dogs kept outside. She gives stern advice to their owners telling them they must clean up or face losing their pets. In Essex the Dangerous Wildlife Rescue Facility is called in to remove a mischievous Macaque monkey from a flat and presenter Tom Heap abseils off a cliff to help place two orphaned peregrine chicks into a new nest with a feathered foster family.

Episode 3:
Today a lovable bulldog type terrier called Dolly is rescued from a filthy back yard by the police and the RSPCA. Suffering a terrible skin condition, she needs urgent treatment before she can be put up for rehoming. Inspector Chris Nice inspects the inmates of Britain’s first crocodile farm in Cambridgshire and presenter Tom Heap learns what life is like as a wildlife paramedic out on the road with the animal ambulance in East Sussex.

Episode 4:
We go behind the scenes at the Royal Dicks Veterinary Hospital in Glasgow. Digger a giant Clydesdale horse is put under anaesthetic for a vital knee op – but coming around is a dangerous ordeal and one he may not survive. RSPCA inspector Jason Boules is on the case of two dogs fenced into filthy conditions in a bathroom and presenter Tom Heap meets the latest patients at Britain’s largest parrot sanctuary.

Episode 5:
Beside the seaside in East Sussex, the wildlife ambulance has its work cut out rescuing seagulls that are victims of a sickening craze – air gun shootings. A stray cat in need of emergency dental surgery is saved from the streets by the RSPCA in Wales and presenter Tom Heap in intrigued by the curious residents of a bat hospital in a suburban home.

Episode 6:
RSPCA deputy chief inspector Helen Mead is on the case of 10 dogs with horribly matted fur and a seriously underweight Labrador in Nottingham. It’s check up time for Rolex the alligator, but will his handler Iain Newby be able to cope? And presenter Tom Heap gets his hands dirty, cleaning up a waterway to make it a safe haven for a swan and her young family.

Episode 7:
The Wildlife Rescue Ambulance Service is out to save a trapped badger cub separated from its sett and a young fox cub who has lost his family. In London, the RSPCA lend a hand to save two cats from a filthy flat piled high with rubbish and presenter Tom Heap is hands on with the RSPCA in Nottingham to save a dog from a dangerous back yard.

Episode 8:
An abandoned and skinny alsation and three young kittens are left to fend for themselves in an empty house – RSPCA inspector Sarah Gardner steps in to save them. A swan is tangled in fishing line on the River Trent in Nottingham – can it be saved in time? And Tom Heap learns the round the clock work wildlife rescue demands at the East Essex Wildlife Hospital.

Episode 9:
On the River Cam, the RSPCA take to the water to save an injured duckling – but they have to catch it first. A cat appears to be home alone in Bolton – with no sign of human life, it’s upto the RSPCA to intervene. And at Weirfield Wildlife Hospital in Lincolnshire, Alison Townsend and her team work around the clock caring fro their poorly patients.

Episode 10:
Flying as high as an eagle - presenter Tom Heap takes to the skies above Devon with Sampson a rescued golden eagle who’s been nursed back to full health. A housing estate in Hull is boarded up ready for demolition – but there is a report of a cat trapped inside – can the RSPCA reach it in time? And in Manchester a report of an abandoned dog sees the RSPCA rush to the rescue.
